Brown Rock Salt Grit - Bulk Loose Loads De-icing Salt - Brown Salt
Our brown rock salt grit is locally mined rock salt. Its large crystals ensure it is free flowing through mechanical push spreaders. It has an inherent grit ('marl') which provides better traction under wheel and under foot - there is no grit or other solids added to the product.
This is a premium quality salt conforming to BS3247 at the time of production.
Dispersal rate for de-icing salt (Sodium Chloride salt) of between 6-15g per square foot (65-160g per square metre) depending on conditions.

IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION |
This salt is delivered using a 40-foot articulated lorry - you must ensure you have sufficient access to allow for delivery, maneuvering and exit. This includes the area on-site and all access roads. You must have a suitable area to allow the lorry to tip its load safely. If the vehicle is not able to gain access and off-load, you will be charged for delivery and the return carriage (equal to the delivery charge) and a restocking charge of 25% of the cost of the product (excluding delivery) |
